Job Summary

This position is a key structural component to our team requiring a seasoned executive with experience in production, planning, retail or operations at the corporate level. Reports directly to the CEO and oversees daily operations at the company’s headquarters in Los Angeles, California.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as an advisor to the CEO and senior management team

  • Assist in facilitating effective decision making

  • Coordinate the execution of corporate goals and strategic initiatives

  • Assess inquiries directed to the company, determine the proper course of action and delegate to the appropriate individual to manage

  • Participate in daily meetings with executive team and staff to track performance

  • Review daily production calendar and evaluate work-flow to ensure deadlines are being met

  • Manage client communications, provide order confirmations and updates on deliveries

  • Provide support to wholesale channel and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner and with the highest level of professionalism

  • Assess staff's strengths and weaknesses to ensure a synergistic work environment

  • Resolve slowdowns in the production or shipping process

  • Communicate directly with staff to comply with standard operating procedures

  • Mastery of reading financial reporting

  • Familiarity with invoices and purchase orders

  • Strong customer relationship skills

  • Mastery of computers and comfortable with softwares required to perform duties

  • Ability to comply with instructions.

Inventory & Shipping Manager

Job Title: Inventory & Shipping Manager

Reports to: Head of Operations

Salary: $15-$22 per hour

Job Summary

An opportunity has arisen for a inventory and shipping manager to work within the Dom Vetro team to manage our shipping and log our inventory. It is important that candidates have a high attention to detail and all shipments conform to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily shipments

  • Pick items to be completed for each order

  • Create invoices and shipping labels per order

  • Maintain accurate record keeping including updates to inventory management and shipping software

  • Create and manage bill of materials

  • Manage fulfillment of orders with USPS, FedEx, and UPS

  • Perform final quality control on outbound shipments

  • Manage inbound shipments for returns and repairs including shipments of raw materials that require stocking

  • Maintain accurate inventory control by logging finished goods and components into inventory and creating invoices that meet internal requirements

  • Monitor stock levels to avoid stockouts

  • Familiarity with invoices and purchase orders

  • Experience with data entry

  • Mastery of computers and comfortable with softwares required to perform duties

  • Ability to communicate effectively with shipping vendors and freight forwarders to ensure timely

    deliveries of customer orders while minimizing shipping costs

  • An eye for detail capable of identifying defects prior to packaging

  • Ability to comply with instructions.

  • Capacity to learn new skills quickly

  • Physically capable of performing duties including lifting, packaging and moving.

  • Organizational and problem solving skills
